During this month we found out that Baby #2 was a GIRL!
Also, I was invited to a MOPS meeting my 3rd day living in Orlando and made some wonderful lifelong friends!!! It’s been such a blessing living in community with these mommas and their families. They have served my family and I in sooo many ways.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Celebrated Harper’s First Birthday. At her birthday party she actually took her first steps EVER! It was so exciting and special, especially with all 4 grandparents there!
Answered Prayer: Started nannying a 3 month old baby boy this month. I watched him full-time until the end of my pregnancy. I really feel like this experience helped prepare me for life with two. It definitely helped prepare Harper for having a baby around.
Celebrated 5 Years of Marriage!!!
Can’t think of anything exciting to say about this month…
Celebrated Independence Day splashing in a giant puddle and dancing to a live band. Later slept through all the fireworks!
Sawyer was due the 15th of July but never came! ha ha ha. So we spent lots of time preparing, walking, waiting and praying this month.
Sweet Sawyer was born at home! Yay! What a wonderful experience and huge accomplishment.
This month is actually very much a blur… as Peter and everyone helping out went back to work/life and I was left alone with 2 babies to care for all by myself! Took some adjusting but I made it!
Something I do remember, is that my very best friend had her baby boy, Easton. All through high school and college we dreamed and prayed together about our future husbands and having babies together. God is so good to us blessing us with such undeserving gifts. So excited for our children to begin creating memories together! Harper says, “Easin.”
Harper at the pumpkin patch with her a few of her besties! As you can see it was very difficult getting 5 babies to smile! ha ha
My brother and his sweet girl friend hosted Thanksgiving at their place in St. Augustine.
We got to take some friends to Tampa for our first multiple family mini vacation! Went to to Horse Power For Kids, where I grew up riding horses and where I hope our girls will enjoy visiting throughout their childhood!
During this month my family experienced loss in such a tragic way. It has been extremely difficult for my uncles and family over the holidays. Prayers are very much appreciated. Peter and I thank God every night for the blessing of getting to hug and kiss our girls for one more day. Life is short and fleeting. We only have this very moment and this very breath.
Happy New Year from the Youngs!
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”
