7lbs 8oz and 20 inches long

After 21 hours of labor and three hours of pushing, our baby girl made it into the world! So excited share our At-Home-Water- Birth story. Seriously such an amazing, magical and emotional experience birthing her into the water and catching her myself! I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. Labor was all worth that moment. God is so good and this experience has made me really stand in such wonder of His creation. I am in awe of how He so wonderfully made a woman’s body to do such amazing things! I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to birth Sawyer naturally and really feel my body working so naturally.

I would NOT have been able to do it without my husband who coached me and encouraged me through the whole thing. Dealing with a laboring woman for 21 hours I’m sure is exhausting, when I felt like giving up he pushed me through. So thankful for my sweet momma, my brave little sister,  my wonderful mother-in-law and our awesome midwives. They were all such great support and it was just so awesome sharing this experience with them!

Baby and momma are both healthy and doing great at this point, so thankful.

We’re a family of 4!!! Yay!

  1. Nothing short of a Privledge to be a part of Sawyer’s Birth. Peter and Molly are one heck of a team. If you know Peter, one of his gifts is to talk your ear off 😉 I watched him tell Molly stories of mission trips as she labored, what seemed to be a lifetime!! She is not teasing about Peter encouraging and supporting her. BUT this Women… Wow, she endured and finish the dream she had to give birth at home. It was action packed! Her Mother and Sister cared for her, held her hand, comforted her and entertained Harper. I am so proud of Peter and Molly! I thank God for their loving bond and their faith to walk this out together.
