Life with Two Arrows

Sons born during one’s youth are like arrows in a warrior’s hand.
How blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!
They will not be put to shame when they confront enemies at the city gate.
Psalm 127: 4-5

Having two babies under the age of two has been quite an adventure! I love it though and LOVE them more than words. I used to have a hard time falling asleep at night, now I pass out before my head hits the pillow.

Let me just share a few more photos so you really get the feel of what life with 2 is like. I LOVE sending these pictures to friends when they ask how things are going. ha ha ha

2arrowscollageYes, on the top left is a photo of Harper trying to bite Sawyer’s feet. I just happened to snap a photo of it. ha ha.

Top Right: No wonder she was so quiet during the car ride.

The bottom ones… well those are fun.

Having two, really has been a challenge and there are definitely moments of madness but I love being their momma! There’s always someone to cuddle with and something to laugh about. The diapers, the laundry, AND the tackling of wild animals is all worth it.

Sawyer’s smiles and coos melt our hearts. She already adores her big sis and doesn’t take her eye off of her. She’s a great sleeper and a cozy cuddler.

Harper has been initiating prayer at dinner, reaching out to hold our hands. She is always trying to help burp Sawyer, wipe her face, hand her toys. It really is so precious and heart warming! Harper keeps us laughing, she’s so funny and so silly. She’s saying sooo many new words and copies E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G we do. She also loooooves books and her baby.

Those are just a FEW wonderful things that make parenting soooo worth it! We are not going to remember the amount of laundry or diapers as much as we will remember the joy of watching these “arrows” grow and flourish.
