YOUNG Family Update: May

{Therefore I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name. 2 Samuel 22:50}

Harper turned ONE last month, surrounded by people who love her. We had a small celebration with family, and friends that we consider family. It was wonderful and the first time both grandparents enjoyed our little one together. She also decided to take her first steps at her party with everyone watching! It was so exciting, we even got on film!

Started nannying a 3 month old baby boy {who is now 5 months} at the beginning of April. It has been a great experience for both Harper and I. It’s been such good practice in so many ways. I’ve got the whole loading-unloading-a-baby-and-toddler-in-and-out-of-the-car-and-double-stroller thing DOWN! Ha ha ha! Harper loves helping me feed him his bottle and she tries to hold his hand and maybe sometime lick his toes… lol.

A Healthy Pregnancy.

May 23rd we will celebrate 5 years of MARRIAGE. So thankful for Peter and our marriage.

New Friendships. So unbelievably thankful for the friendships we have made here. We have been served in so many ways by couples we only met 3 months ago. Love the group of moms I’ve been getting to know and feeling soooooo blessed by them every week. Every momma needs mom friends to help them feel not so CRAZY! We’re also enjoying getting to know and spending more time with, other seminary families.

Please Pray For…

{Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6}

Peter’s last week. Please pray for him during exam week and pray for Harper & I, as it is difficult not seeing much of him.

A Church home. We’re still visiting churches around town. So many great places, with a variety of wonderful qualities. We’re excited to dive into a church community REAL here soon.

Always for our marriage! Pray with us, that God will use this time to strength our marriage and draw us closer to Him and one another.

That God would continue to provide for our family financially.

Safe and Smooth Labor & Delivery in July

Our GirlsBUMP

Harper is ONE and the girl is walking all over!! She is learning sooooo much and imitating everything we do! She loves wearing my jewelry, emptying my purse and throwing stuff in the trash for us—ha ha. She definitely keeps me VERY VERY busy. Thanks to her I am sleeping wonderful at night, she really wears me out.

Baby girl number two moves around like CRAZY and we STILL DO NOT HAVE A NAME!!! {Feel free to share suggestions}Emerson, Olive, America, Tatum are just a FEW of our favorite names that have come and GONE! Hoping this baby girl has a name soon.

Classes, papers, exams and study groups sure do keep my husband busy! Peter has almost made it through his first semester and I could not be prouder! Just a ONE more week. Woo hoo!! He has learned a ton, made many great friends, and grown his library by like 40 books! I seriously think we’re going to need a storage unit just for all these books by the time He’s done. We’ve have received some unexpected financial support which has been wonderful. He is planning on taking the summer off to work full time.

Our prayer for our family is that God would use us in any way He wants and that we would be open to hear how He wants us to serve Him and reach His people.

With this heart open wide
From the depths from the heights
{We} will bring a sacrifice
With these hands lifted high
Hear {our} song hear {our} cry
I will bring a sacrifice
I’ lay me down
I’m not my own
{We} belong to you alone
Lay me down
Hand on my heart
This much is true
There’s no life apart from you

Letting go of {our} pride
Giving up all {our} rights
Take this life and let it shine

It will be {our} joy to say
Your will, Your way
